Serial Input Tape Printer Model 160

Dot matrix printer will switch easily from a slave to an intelligent printer. Slave printer will print only what is sent on the serial line. Intelligent printers will perform calculations and accumulate various totals. Tape printer has paper take up reel for wind up of original or copy. 6 lines/inch, 3 lines/sec, characters are 0.12" high, 12 char/inch and selectable double wide 6 char/inch. Selectable header label can have up to 30 characters of company name or other information. Up to 10 digits of sequential numbering. Station number 1 thru 9 can identify each printer. Print inhibit if no paper. Time & date print is selectable. Serial input is RS232 or 20ma serial current loop, even, odd or no parity, 7 or 8 data bits, baud rates 300 thru 9600. Pulse inputs up to 48 VDC for conveyor scales. 4K input buffer insures data will not be lost. Battery back up will keep memory of time & date and totals up to 2 weeks.
